Benefit Concert for MSF in Sudan

Maestra Véronique Lussier dirige l’ensemble lors d’un concert des Fêtes mettant en vedette Kyoko Hashimoto comme soliste dans le Concerto n°2 de Rachmaninov. Waleed Abdulhamid, un immigrant et musicien soudanais, chantera également des chansons de son pays natal. Au programme également la Symphonie n°3 de Schumann. Un représentant de MSF ayant une expérience récente sur le terrain au Soudan fera une brève présentation de la crise sur les activités médicales de MSF.

Maestra Veronique Lussier leads the ensemble in a holiday concert featuring Kyoko Hashimoto as soloist in Rachmaninoff’s Concerto No.2.  Waleed Abdulhamid, an immigrant and musician from Sudan, will sing songs from his homeland.  Also on the program is Schumann’s Symphony No. 3. A representative of MSF with recent experience in the field in Sudan will give a brief talk about the crisis on MSF’s medical activities.
